The e-BioCenter laboratories are fully equipped with advanced analytical facilities for quality assessment in environmental compartments (air, water and soil), such as spectroscopic technologies (NMR, DRIFT, UV/VIS, NIR), HPLC-MS, porosimeter, C,H,N,S analyzers with isotope tracers, GC-MS, and ICP/MAS. In addition, the following depatment the provides facilities and instruments listed below:

DeFENS: 

• platform for microbiological DNA analyses, proteomics/metabolomics and microscopy for microbial communities and biofilms;

dESP: 

• laboratory and piloting facility dedicated to the development of technological solutions

• greenhouse platform to perform tests on plants

• a system of lab-scale and pilot photobioreactors to test microalgae growth

• full licenses for LCA analysis software (e.g. Simapro v. 8.0.5) with access to the ECOINVENT Database.
